the 2003 Viva Italia Festival
Beautiful cars in a shady spot close to great Italian food -
a darn nice way to spend a breezy Saturday afternoon in South Florida. Your SFAROC turnout definitely captured the "Best in
Show" award! Robert Polasek's awesome green Spider, Les Deck's magnificent 164, Noemi's faithful and immaculate Leonardo,
Joe Garcia's superb Maratona, and the excruciatingly gorgeous Marc Mosko's Giulia Veloce Spider overwhelmed the passersby.
We met aficionados, shared space with some Fiats including the interesting Moretti MiniMaxi that probably needed a bigger
alternator just for the sound system, and generally passed the time basking in the admiration of all those who visited Hollywood's
2003 Viva Italia! festival.
When you see a Ducati rider stop, park, and wander through the
cars with his mouth open you know we have some classy cars and members! Noemi's Leonardo took home the prize for this year's
fiercely competitive category- "Best Spider with a cooler with Champagne"- and won a gift certificate from Try My Thai, a
wonderful restaurant right next to Young Circle. So, whether we have a large or small turnout, we have fun, we share our love
for our cars, somebody and everybody wins, and we get to enjoy the day, the company, and our cars.
