It's time for some Alfa fun, after a long humid summer- and our intrepid President and Vice-President have cooked up a treat to go with the arrival of cooler weather. We're invited to the Festival of Speed, with room for 20-30 Alfa's.

President Naomi Sarasola and Vice-President Armando Paredes deserve a lot of credit for getting this going. It's a beautiful location and a big event, and a discount! We have to register in advance, via PayPal, mailing a check, or calling, but thanks to Naomi and Armando Alfa Club members enjoy 50% off the regular price- only $25.00. Where? Bayfront Park, Miami, in the heart of downtown facing Biscayne Bay. When? Sunday, November 15, and you have access to the Sunday events. If you want to go Saturday there are tickets available, but not included with the Sunday entrance.

You also have a choice, display only, or light judging strictly for fun.

I think once you get a look at the site, and the outstanding cars that will be there, you'll be on board- how about a Ferrari FXX Evolution, and an Aston Martin DBR9? This is a big deal in a perfect venue.

And, we're expecting two stars of our own- Don Dorra, President Emeritus and founder of the South Florida chapter will join us with his spider and possibly his 1967 Lotus Elan; and Marc Mosko, another former President and South Florida Alfa fanatic, are on the guest list.
